The "Ghost" Carbon Fiber Surf SUP comes in ocean blue or gray brushed carbon fiber. Measuring 8'6" x 29.5" x 4.25" with 109 liters of high-energy EPS foam, it is wrapped in a 6oz fiberglass shell, double-sided S-glass stringers, a topside carbon fiber I-beam, and epoxy resin—all vacuum-bagged in 3k carbon fiber with extra layers on the nose, tail, and a reinforced standing zone.
Weighing in just under 16 lbs, this carbon fiber Surf SUP explodes with all the power of a high-performance sports car. The Ghost is designed to be the next-level SUP and our true high-performance surf SUP. Everything about this board screams fast and furious fun. From the slight Vee down the middle to the sharper, harder rails, the Ghost feels like no other board we have had under our feet.
Giving the Ghost carbon fiber Surf SUP a slight Vee down the middle increases the turnability, making it easier to shift from rail to rail for quicker response time. Harder, sharper rails increase performance, allowing you to dig deeper in hard turns and really slice into the face of the wave for excellent hold.
When waves get big, their faces become steep and powerful. The sharper rails of the Ghost allow the edges to cut a little deeper into the face of the wave, keeping it stable in aggressive conditions. Steep faces mean that part of the board may be out of the water as you ride, making it vital that the rail remains sharply locked into the face of the wave.
